Compass displays Heading information directly from the Fluxgate Compass or, if the unit is used as a repeater, via the SeaTalk bus using data taken from another Compass Instrument or Autopilot.
This Compass can also be used as a Steering Indicator to maintain a given course. Any Helmsmans error, to Port or Starboard, is indicated by a bargraph at the bottom of the display.
