Ronstan’s practical Clear Start^™ watch line expanded to include three attractive new models

Ronstan has introduced three stylish new watches based upon the popular Clear Start™ timer. Each retains the easy-to-read, easy-to-use functionality of the original Clear Start™ timer, yet are attractive and comfortable enough to be worn off the boat. Purpose built, each new model is specifically designed and programmed to meet the unique needs of racing sailors.

All Clear Start™ watch models feature large single row number displays with 10 or 16mm (3/8” or 5/8”) digit height so they can be quickly read at a glance. They can be set to display three distinct modes including time, chronograph (stop watch) & regatta countdown and includes multiple start time sequences and quick synchronization functions. Each of the new models is also specifically engineered to resist getting hung-up on lines and other deck clutter while sailing. They also feature electro-luminescence backlit displays that are easy to read at night and highly audible alarms.

Each of the new Clear Start™ models offer unique styling and features:

The RF 4031 Sailing Watch uses an attractive ABS case with metal back for louder alarm sounds and is highlighted by an easily identified red colored start/stop button on the side of the housing. It also uses an integrated one piece strap so there is no chance of popping a spring-pin and loosing the watch overboard.

The RF4032 Race Watch features a sporty wear-anytime look with stainless steel front and back. Large function buttons include an isolated start/stop button located on the front of the watch just below the display. The removable PU strap is fixed with springless pins for security.

The RF4036 Regatta Watch incorporates a traditional polished stainless steel case with the large display functionality of Ronstan’s Clear Start™ technology. Water resistant up to 100 meters, it has a fixed bezel face and sturdy stainless band with a double lock clasp for a secure fit.

In addition to their specialist sailing functions the three new watch models have full 12/24 hour, day/date and reminder alarm functionality for life on shore between races.
